OK, I know its a few hours earlier than posted but the competition is now closed. A massive thanks to everyone who entered, the response has been better than expected.
There have been a lot of excellent entries with a lot of hard work put into them but it has to come down to three, and the decision is tough.

The use of this terrain is amazing, it is very reminiscent of a spot outside the town I grew up in with an old ruined castle, Glengarnock Castle (and the place I lost my virginity) which you can view

OK Kilbirnie is a far cry from the jungle (depends on your perspective) but the memories invoked are what makes this stand out.

I will be running another competition very very soon, with the same prizes but on this occasion I'm going to let the winner of this competition decide on the theme for the next one, plus I'll put the decider to a vote next time instead of my own choice since I hadn't really expected the the response from this one...its fairer that way

I swear I had no idea you were deflowered in a place reminiscent of that ruin - had I known, I would have exploited it further, maybe put a foot sticking out the window or something.
I sincerely thought there were others that were far superior to mine. I'm really pleased and honored.
And to everyone in the composition - I've been poring over your galleries and your favorites and really enjoying all the outstanding work! It's inspirational and I'm happy to be in your company.
